The Southern West Virginia Convention and Visitors Bureau can provide assistance in planning your meeting. Our services include site facility selection and coordination, area brochure mailings, local tour information, and visitor center information display at your meeting or conference. In addition to an abundance of quality accommodations and a variety of meeting & conference facilities, Southern WV is known as the home of “America’s Best Whitewater” and is famous for unparalleled outdoor adventure activities. Rafting, kayaking and mountain biking are just a few of our adventure opportunities. In addition to these more extreme sports, enjoy fabulous golf, fishing, snow skiing, live theatre, historic sites and artisan centers.

Southern WV is located within 500 miles of 60% of the US population. Two major interstates, I-77 & I-64 cross through the heart of the region, allowing easy access to travelers. Surrounding airports include Raleigh County Memorial Airport in Beckley, Greenbrier Valley Airport in Lewisburg, Mercer County Airport and neighboring Yeager Airport in Charleston.
