November 6, 2009Historic Downtown Lewisburg continues its tradition of First Fridays after Five. First Fridays after Five takes place from 5pm to 9pm on the first Friday of every month. This event is free to the public. Everyone is welcome! Don’t miss the fun!
Carnegie Hall, 5pm to 8pm, art exhibit opening, “The Aroma of Paint”, a collaborative effort from artists Nita Honaker and Karen Carter. View the exhibits, meet with the artists and enjoy light refreshments. Also, view two new photography exhibits, “Dance and Dancers: Passion and Play” by Frances Dowdy and “Honoring America’s Coal Miners” by Thorney Lieberman. 105 Church Street, 645-7917.

First Fridays after 5 takes place all year long in downtown Lewisburg with shops, galleries and restaurants in downtown Lewisburg open until 9pm serving complimentary refreshments and entertainment. First Fridays After Five: You’ll find the lights on and the town alive!

WV Dance Company
November 13, 2009The only professional touring dance company in the history of the state, the West Virginia Dance Company's performances are a blend of entertaining and thought-provoking modern compositions that invoke enthusiasm in audiences in all ages. Its members are highly trained professionals from all over the country. The company has been ambassadors of dance in fourteen states as well as in Brazil.
Friday Night Alive
November 20, 2009Trillium Performing Arts presents Friday Night Alive at the historic Lewis Theatre with music, dance, theatre and more. Admission to this family friendly event is by donation. $5 suggested for adults.
