Kirkwood Winery, located in Summersville, Nicholas County at 45 Winery Lane off of Phillips Run Road.  The Country Store at Kirkwood Winery offers a wide variety of wines as well as a unique selections of regional heritage crafts. Grape Stomping Festival held annually on the third weekend of September. Open daily 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday 1 pm to 5 pm. Tastings, tours, crafts and more. Buses welcome. Locally owned and operated. Smooth Ambler Spirits is an artisan, small batch distillery making vodka, gin, whiskey and bourbon using local and regional ingredients. Our working still is on display at all times and tours are available most days. The tasting room, gift shop and retail area where spirits may be purchased is open 10-6 Mon.-Fri. and 11-3 Saturday, closed Sunday. Visa/MC, AMEX.
