Antebellum House constructed in 1830. On site: Historical Society Museum & one-room schoolhouse. Open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm, June-August. Located 1 mile west of Ansted on US Rt. 60.

The North House was built in Lewisburg in 1820. The present archives and museum is the home of the Greenbrier Historical Society's collections and gift shop. Tours available thoughout the day Monday -Saturday. Closed all major holidays. Major credit cards accepted.

The Princeton-Mercer County Railroad Museum is located in the historic district of East Mercer Street. Replica houses priceless artifacts relating to the Virginian Railroad. Group tours available.

One hundred years old, this stone building served as the county jail until 1994. Guided tours allow you to view collections & exhibits detailing past jail life.

Museum filled with uniforms, artifacts from the early days of the C&O Railway. Model train exhibit, tools used during the time of John Henry, the Steel Drivin’ Man. Located in downtown Hinton.

Exit 42 or 44 off I-64/77. Located inside of the New River Park adjacent to Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine. Hands-on exhibits, special events, gift shop, recreated pioneer village. April – Oct. 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Nov. – Mar. 10 am – 5 pm, closed on Mondays.
